Sun, Moon and Five Peaks 2018 by Junhyoung Kim is a re-imagining of a traditional, illustrated folding screen which was placed behind the king’s royal throne during the Josen Dynasty era. The piece aims to explore contemporary Korean identities while looking towards the country’s past.
